MacNeill, Mary Ella

We regretfully announce the passing of Mary Ella (Shirley Mae Carr) MacNeill peacefully on June 17^th, 2009.  Shirley was the daughter of the late James Fredrick and Elizabeth Carr.  Shirley is survived by her loving daughter Wendy and Wendy’s children Sean, Matthew and Danielle.  Shirley is also survived by a son, Joey and his children Amanda and Michael.  Shirley has one living sibling, James Carr of Dunsford.  She was predeceased by siblings Gertrude (Trudy), Kay, Wess, Shirley, Charles (Chuck), Helen, George and Don.  She is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews including very special nieces Debbie (Guy) McCloskey, Janey (Earl) Coish, Rhonda (Luigi) Minoia and special nephew James Jr. (Nathalie) Carr.  Also very special friends Lori Gayle (Gallant) and Thelma Graham.  There is no funeral by personal request.  However, there will be a day of musical celebration in honour of Shirley’s memory on Saturday, June 27^th, 2009 from 12 noon to 5:00 pm in the Club Room of the Moose Lodge, Lindsay.  In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, PO Box 236, Lindsay, K9V 4S1. 705-324-1988.
